For the first blank add each bar: East = 24 + 16 + 10 = 50, West = 30 + 20 + 15 = 65, Central = 18 + 12 + 9 = 39. West is the tallest stack at 65, so it is correct; East is second and Central is the shortest.

For the second blank you read just the Engineering segment in two bars: West has 30 and Central has 18, so the difference is 30 − 18 = 12. Knowing West has the largest total does not hand you this number, since you must isolate the Engineering color.

The choice 6 is the Sales gap between East and Central, 10 is a whole-bar figure rather than an Engineering difference, and 15 is West's Admin segment, not its Engineering lead.
